Speaker Guidelines

The following guidelines will provide you with useful & important information and instructions to prepare your presentation.

SECURE YOUR REGISTRATION
Once you are confirmed as a speaker, do not forget to complete your registration. All the information related to the registration process can be found on the following page "Registration".

BIOGRAPHY & PHOTO
Submit a photo and a short biography (brief summary) to Romina Conti -r.conti@asecap.com. The bio and photo will appear in the ASECAP Days website as a reference for attendees. The biography will also be used by your moderator for introduction. Please be sure your bio is in a complete sentence/summary format, not a resume format. Your moderator needs to be able to read or summarize your experience when introducing you. Please make sure that your biography does not exceed 200 words!
With the submission of your personal data (short biography and photo) in our organization, you agree to publish your data on the materials and the website of the ASECAP Days 2021 Congress. You reserve the right to ask from the organizers not to publish your photos and your biography or to delete these materials after the publishing. After your request the organizers will remove the material within 24 hours.

Important deadlines to keep in mind:

- Biography submission deadline: 10th September 2021

- Final Presentation submission deadline: 25th October 2021

GENERAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
Timing
It is crucial that all speakers stay within the allotted time. We encourage you to rehearse your presentation in advance to make sure that it does not exceed the time limit.
Slides and Presentation
Here are some suggestions for the design of your slides:
General tips
Always include:
• Title of your presentation
• Names and affiliations of the authors
• Final slide with conclusions / main messages
• Your contact details
Clearly identify your presentation, please save it with your given & family name + Company name as part of the file name i.e. jane-smith-COMPANY.ppt;
Video: All video or sound files should be submitted as separate files, some older versions of Power Point tend to lose video linkage once the files are moved from their original location.
Please note that all the presentations will be converted to PDF and posted on the ASECAP DAYS website after the event. Please notify Romina Conti if you would like to make adjustments.
Speakers are required to join the meeting at least 30 minutes before the start.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Presentation format
We kindly ask you to prepare your presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint™, or convert them into Microsoft PowerPoint™ format. For any other format, we cannot guarantee compatibility and we might not be able to show your presentation. If you prepare your presentation on a Mac, please make sure to convert it to PowerPoint or pdf.
