The organiser of the 45th ASECAP Study and Information Days is ASECAP.

The 4-star Pullman Paris Montparnasse hotel is located in the heart of Paris, close to the Montparnasse train station, the Eiffel Tower and Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The 45th ASECAP Study and Information Days will take place from Monday 29 May to Wednesday 31 May 2017 in Paris, France.


By air

There are 2 major airports around Paris. The Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport, the largest international airport in France, is located in the northeast of Paris and is around 30 km driving distance from the congress venue (approx. 40 minutes by taxi). The second Paris airport is the Orly airport, located in the southeast of Paris, is 14 km driving distance from the congress venue.

By train

If you travel with Thalys and Eurostar, you will arrive at the Gare du Nord station that is located 7.5 km from the Pullman Montparnasse Hotel.

How to get to the hotel? From the Gare du Nord metro station, take metro line 4 (direction: Mairie de Montrouge) and stop at the Montparnasse Bienvenüe metro station.

By taxi

The price for a taxi-ride from the Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport to the hotel is between 50 € and 65 €. Taxis are available on the arrivals level 24h/24h.

The price of a taxi-ride from the Gare du Nord train station to the hotel is between 11 € and 16 €.


The official language of the conference is English. Interpretation will be provided in French.


Paris is beautiful in every single season. The continental climate in Paris is characterized by warm and sunny summers, moderate winters and has no extreme temperatures. The weather in Paris improves dramatically in May, when the summer season is just around the corner. At this time of year, the average temperature for the city increases from 12.5°C on May 1st all the way up to 16°C by May 31st. Daily highs usually range from 17°C to 21°C throughout the month, very rarely rising above 26°C or falling below 12°C.

Clothing and footwear

Casual clothes and sensible shoes are recommended for the excursions. We advise you to have sufficient clothing for the prevailing weather conditions with the necessary outer garments.
